A private childbirth education class ensures that you receive individualized one-on-one labour, childbirth and early parenting information with a focus on topics important to you.
If you're busy parents-to-be, have challenging work schedules or have limited mobility due to bed-rest our private childbirth class will allow for optimal flexibility!
Not only is our private childbirth class taught in the comfort of your own home, you and our birth educator can coordinate schedules so you can choose the most convenient date and time together. Available to families in Cochrane, Calgary, Airdrie & Olds.
Private childbirth class content includes:
late pregnancy
signs of labour
stages of labour + birth
positioning for labor and birth
comfort measures and relaxation techniques
labor support and communication skills
pain management + common medical procedures
infant feeding
maternal recovery
early parenting tips
As with all of our Childbirth Education courses, private birthing classes are designed and taught by our certified, trusted and experienced childbirth educator who is also a breastfeeding support specialist, family sleep educator and birth doula.
The ideal time take a private childbirth class is in your 28-36th week of pregnancy. To guarantee availability please book early in your pregnancy as private class dates fill quickly.
Investment: $420+GST
*A registration fee of half the class cost is required to reserve your date(s). This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance is due 7-10 days prior to the class beginning.
Cancellation Policy – If you must cancel your private session, we request a minimum of 24 hrs notice. Appointments that are immediately rescheduled will not incur any fees. If you cancel within 24 hrs or less, you will be charged the full fee for your class.
Privacy and confidentiality are always maintained with regards to your session(s).
